Times Square Lit Up At Night - Bad For Your Health?

Downtown bright lights might be pretty but they may also be bad for the environment and human health.  A new study has been published  indicating that bright night-time urban lights may actually interfere with a night-time cycle that cleans the air and reduces smog.

So, besides saving energy, turning those lights off sooner and not turning them back on until morning (or even the following night) may save money, energy, CO2 and help reduce smog!
